Here is some past work. Stay a while, take a watch:
–Barack Obama to a crowd including Josh Burstein
Josh is showrunner and host of LAST GLIMPSE, a travel series celebrating at-risk cultures in a positive, empowering light. The pilot episode takes on rising sea levels in "modern Atlantis" – the picturesque paradise of The Maldives. The show looks to partner with foundations and socially-conscious brands, with a formal letter of interest from PBS for a full first season.
Josh is the Creative Advisor to The Democrats. Josh served in the Obama administration with Tom Perez as Director of Digital Strategy for the U.S. Department of Labor. He was also Video Director for the 2016 Democratic National Convention's digital efforts. He previously directed digital content and outreach for Tom Steyer’s political organization NextGen Climate, where he spent his time shining a spotlight on real people that can't ignore the impacts of climate change. Josh also got to produce a national TV spot with director Darren Aronofsky and actor Woody Harrelson, which was pretty cool.
In the era before Snapchat, Josh worked for President Obama’s reelection campaign, the Government of Israel, and Charlie Sheen. It is likely the only thing all three have in common. His work has been shared by National Geographic, The New York Times, TIME, Upworthy, Variety, The Washington Post, @BarackObama, @HillaryClinton – and a lot of other people that tweet better than the sitting President.
Josh is an Ordained Minister who enjoys writing and telling stories, usually not in the third person. Josh also likes film stuff, arting, advocating for unusual constituencies, Oxford commas, and taking advantage of beautiful Left Coast weather.
Here's a few more videos for good measure:
